{CL Review} Geo Xtra Sakura Pink Circle Lens!

This week has been pretty hectic to say the least, but I finally have found time to do a review for my newest lenses sponsored by Solution-Lens.com! I've always wanted to try pink lenses, and always thought the sakura style was really pretty, so I was super excited to receive them in the mail along with my Sesame Grey lenses.

-Bathroom Lighting-

Looking at the lenses in their vials, they are a really vibrant pink colour, with a darker rose red colour outlining it. They are flat colours with no gradient effect between the 2 colours. I was a little nervous at first, because I didn't know how this effect would work out, since I usually stick to the 3 tone blending colours rather then flat out hues. Once they were in my eyes though, the pink colours were only slightly toned down from their bright colours in the vial. My dark eyes helped to blend the harsh line between the two shades of pink and made a really pretty contrast, but wasn't too crazy in my opinion.

-Daylight-

For 15mm, these lenses are very wearable without giving off that bug eyed/ super dolly look. They are pretty big in my opinion, but one they are in they look to be a normal size. Maybe its just because my eyes are huge so they look normal lol who knows :)

Comfort: 3.5/5

Even from this far away you can still see a hint of pink :)

The comfort with these lenses are less then stellar. I can feel every inch of them as they go into my eyes, and they start feeling dry after only a half hour. Before putting them in the first time, I had to soak them for almost a week to get them soft enough to put in without making my eyes water and feel all the edges scraping my eyeball. With some eye drops, they should be fine, but I would rather not have to put in eye drops all the time.

Overall: 4/5

For the most part, these lenses were pretty decent. The colours very wearable, and the size isn't too big for the design. The comfort it what brought down the rating of these lenses. I cant stand having an uncomfortable lens so I was disappointed with that aspect. I do like the shade of pink they turn my eyes though, and how noticeable they are, but in a good way. :) I do recommend these lenses, but would advise you keep some eye drops close by.

{CL Review} Princess Mimi Bambi Sesame Grey Lenses

I have finally gotten my grey lenses from Solution-Lens <3 They are, as the title suggests, the Princess Mimi Bambi Sesame Grey lenses..that is one hell of a title. The came in a package with my First pink lenses!!!! But  that review will come next week ;)

These lenses are absolutely beautiful. They have a thick black limbal ring with a flower design leading into the center, with specks of light grey, dark grey and a cool blue grey tone through out which gives off a very beautiful gradient effect with your natural colour. It also has a circle of golden specks in the center which helps blend into deeper brown eyes.

Enlargement: 4/5

-Bathroom Lighting -

With 15mm diameter, these lenses are pretty big, but are still very wearable. They don't give off that bug eyed effect but you can see the size on them. They aren't the biggest Iv ever seen but they do have a good size to them. Definitely noticeable, but in a good way

Comfort: 4/5

Like all contacts, the first time putting them in wasn't that nice. When putting them in I could definitely feel the rim of the lens as it was going into my eye. :/ But as usual, after about 15-20 min they became super comfy, and I could feel how hydrated(?) they were against my eyeballs.

-Sunlight-

All in all these are wonderful lenses. I only took a half point off because of how uncomfortable they are when I first put them in. I like to put my lenses in quick and be able to get on with the rest of my day, but with these I have to wait until they are comfy and until my eyes stop watering. Once that's done with though, they  become the prettiest grey, most comfortable thing ever put into my face.

{CL Review} Geo Olive Blue Lenses

I think I have just found my new favourite Circle Lens. :O

These are the beautiful Geo Olive Blue lenses that I received from Solution Lens.com! On the site, they are priced at 19.90USD which includes free shipping and a lens case as well.

This is the exact colour of blue I was hoping for! They are a bright blue in the sunlight, but when put with my dark black/brown natural eye colour they turn into a subtle navy colour that is very wearable and natural looking. So many people kept trying to guess why I looked different but not one guessed my lenses until I pointed them out. They have a navy blue limbal ring which helps to blend the colour out, as well as a black sketch design coming from the center of the lens.

Enlargement:  3/5 

Late Night Lamp Light

It is a standard 14mm lens, so the enlargement isn't that big. This helps create a more natural look that is very wearable and appropriate for all occasions. I would say these lenses focus more on the colour and design then the size of the lens.

Comfort: 5/5

3 hours in at work ;) 

These lenses are my most comfortable Geo lens to date. The actually feel in the same range as my Vassen lenses which have a water content of around 42%. I wore them for at least 6 hours without remembering they were contacts, and with no drying or discomfort.

These lenses are definitely a hit, not just with me but also my mom and boyfriend, who both usually hate my contacts. The colour is gorgeous on dark eyes, and would go really nicely with light eyes as well. They are comfortable and very trendy, and I cant wait to wear them again!

{CL Review} Vassen Puffy 3Tone Brown! - pt3

As promised, tonight's post will be my 3rd pair of lenses from Solution-Lens.com! As mentioned in my past reviews from their company, they are an amazing site with a bunch of deals, and authentic lenses from Vassen, Geo and Dueba! With amazing package deals, and prices as low as 19.90USD AND free worldwide shipping, you cant really go wrong.

Colour/Design: 3/5

Even though I heard these lenses were very bright, I was hoping they wouldn't look too fake, especially against my dark eyes..which they totally did. I'm not sure what I was going for with these lenses, I just thought they looked pretty on other people, so I figured I'd give them a go. The colour you see was definitely what you got. They gave my eyes a hazel tone and the red burst in the middle was very apparent while I was wearing the lenses. My friends said I looked like a vampire when I wore them :(. Weird thing is though, these are almost identical to my brothers natural eye colour...makes me and him look like twins haha!

Enlargement: 4/5

At 15mm, these lenses are quite big, but since fit nicely in my eyes without making me look bug eyed. The lenses focus more on the colour I would say, since the size looks so natural and wearable for a 15mm lens. I thought it was only 14.5mm until I double checked for this post >.<. For 15mm these lenses are super easy to put in and not drying at all

Comfort: 5/5

Like I said in the previous section, the lenses are very wearable and comfortable, without much drying even though they are 15mm. I wore these for a good 6 or 7 hours before I started feeling that drying sensation, and that was without eye drops or anything, in a dry shop, while I was working. Pretty impressive, but they are from Vassen, which is known for their amazingly comfortable lenses.

Overall: 3/5

Although I do really like these lenses, the colour throws me off the most. They take these wonderful lenses from everyday wear, to cosplay and night time since the colours and blending is so unnatural, on my eyes anyways. I do highly recommend them though if you are looking for something very bright and eye catching with a beautiful colour range. I just find them a little too light for my darker complexion.....Ash brown hair or honey coloured hair and fair complexion would look amazing with this colour lens I would think.

As I mentioned yesterday, I was going to do a room tour, but I feel like I could still do much more with my room before it was blog ready, so unfortunately I'm not doing that yet lol. Butttttt! my next post will probably be something really fun so STAY TUNED!!

Circle Lens + Shop Review! pt. 1

This week I feel fuelled up to write blog, so far I'm pretty impressed with my output. :) Today I bring you another long awaited post out of a series of 3, and its none other then my review of my new lenses I bought from Solution-Lens!

As usual I am not only going to review the lenses, but also my interaction with the store, so in case anyone wants to order from them, it is easy to compare!

I stumbled upon this website while searching for a good cheap place to get some pretty lenses, and after umming and awwing about it, I finally decided to go for it and order! This site has a very unique incentive plan. With each lens you buy, priced at 19.90USD, you are eligible to receive another pair of your choice for free! Also they have a great sales on lenses, for example the one I went with was to buy 2 lenses and get 1 free (all priced at 19.90), so I only paid about 40USD for 3 great pairs of lenses. They also have other great fixed sales where you can buy up to 15 lenses for $199, which evens out to 13 dollars per pair!! <3

Anyways back to my orders....

The 3 lenses I purchased were the Vassen Mimo Forest Green, Geo Angel Grey and the Dueba Puffy 3tone Brown lenses...for only 40 bucks...AMAZING!! I had originally wanted the Vassen Vivian Green, but the lovely customer service staff emailed me right away and told me that those lenses were out of stock, and even gave me suggestions on other styles that I may like that were similar to the original lenses I wanted.

When I finally got my lenses they were packed in a cute yellow envelope that had a big heart sticker on it. On opening up the package, I saw my nicely packaged vials, individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and then wrapped together in their pairs. There was also separate wrap that held the cases, and then everything was neatly put into clear bags. I did only receive 2 lens cases which I wasn't expecting, but they aren't expensive so I bought my own. NBD

Anywhooo, today's review will be the Vassen Mimo Forest Green lenses! (Woot!) These will be my first colourful lenses...other then my grey ones...but ya. I was so excited to get some colourful lenses!

They are a really nice mix of a bright green and black. They have a small black outer ring with black dashes throughout the green.

Colour: 2/5

After I put them on however, I couldn't notice too much green. My eyes are very dark brown, almost black, so with the black design, they blended a little too well, and only shows green when I get the halo effect.

Enlargement: 5/5

These are the first lenses that iv ever worn that enlarge my eyes so ridiculously..and I actually don't mind it! They give me a great dolly look, especially since they are so dark, and really helps bring more attention to my face since it helps even out my big mouth haha.

Comfort: 5/5

These are also my first lenses from the Vassen company, who are known for their high water content and comfortable lenses. They definitely live up to their hype. I have never had lenses that have felt so amazing in my face! even though they are huge, it feels like there is nothing on my eyes, they don't stick or move around, they fit perfectly!

Overall: 4/5

I do really like these lenses, even though the colour is completely not what I wanted. They are the perfect lenses for photos or if I want to do a super dolly look. I wasn't all dolled up in the pictures, but I'm sure with some heavier makeup and some lashes, I will definitely like them and give them a full 5 out of 5!
