Birthday Haul...and some other bits and bobs

A week late, but hey.. Ive been working and doing grown up things ok. BUT I finally have the first half of my birthday haul! I say first half because I'm sure I'm going to use the rest of my birthday money to buy a lot more things I don't need, so without further adieu....

the neatest pile you will ever see in my room.

First up, ill start with my gifts;

As a beauty card holder at Sephora, every year for my birthday i get a different gift. Last year i got the sugar lip tint and lip balm. This years is the beauty duo from Benefit, their amazing mascara and champagne sheer highlighter.

These are all little gifts my friends got me. A sweet gold stud bracelet, black tunnels as well as another pair of silver and jeweled tunnels. My ears are stretched to a 0 so these are some of my new ear candy!

Do you guys remember making those thread bracelets on the bus coming home from school in the 90s? My friends do and they bought me a bunch of em! (This is only half..)

Now for things I bought on behalf of me being old!
Starting off with items from H&M

These pants were in the sale section. The blue wash jeans were 15 bucks and the grey acid wash was 12. I love going and getting amazing deals like these!

This skirt is another really cute item that was on for 19.95. It is full stretch and has a zipper up the back but its super short. My legs are a little too long to wear this successfully without any mishaps...although there will be an outfit post with it soon :D STAY TUNED FO DAT.

Only the tights in this picture are from H&M. A 4 pack for 6.95...cant go wrong with that!
I also bought some vitamin E oil which was on sale (yay sale)

I have been eyeing this purse for weeks now, and finally treated myself to it. It comes in black and this white, and they both have the gold spikes on the bottom. I was so torn between the black and white, but I love that the white has the statement black piping around it.

The last item from H&M is this super gorgeous light weight cardi. It was only 14.95 and features a sweet geo star print. As light weight as it is, its still way too hot to wear out in this disgusting heat were having.

Now onto Zara, which is currently having a HUGE summer sale, although only a few things caught my eyes...and those things are...

This striped tulip kind of striped skirt. It has pockets and is a nice length although I did buy a size or two too big. I bought a medium, but if I want to wear it at my waist I just fold it over and put a bobby pin in the side to hold it together. I do like it big though since it will give me a great item to look forward to outfitting in the fall. Also this skirt was 19.99

Next up are these beauties!

I absolutely loveeee these boots. They were just there waiting for me. All alone. My size. Destiny.
At 29.99 i had to pick them up and I literally hugged them to my chest and didn't put them down or take them out of my site the entire time! I have seen other bloggers wearing these a while ago, but I'm sure they didn't get them for the steal price I got them for!

And last, but not least my purchases from Urban Planet.

I am absolutely in love with this skirt. I have been looking for a black faux leather mini for such a long time, that I nearly gave up until I saw this beaut. I love the cut of it and that it has the zipper pockets, although its quite small....even though its a size large. It was only 17 bucks though, so that's not bad at all.

Another thing I obsessed over was this galaxy print crop tee that I bought for 10 bucks. Its getting a little lost in my quilt but the colours are mainly purple, pink and orange and there are moons, starts and planets through out the whole thing. Anyone that knows me knows how much  love astrology and this top makes me feel so good when I wear it.

And that is it for my haul... for now

October shopping haul

Since moving out, Ive been trying to spend less money and only buy necessities or items iv been dyeing to buy, which means I will be having smaller hauls to show and talk about. Since  this is now the case, iv decided to do monthly shopping hauls instead of lots of little ones through out the month. This month i have bought some things that iv been dying to get, some that are necessities, and some that are a little bit of a let down but still perfect for the coming cold season.

My first stop is usually H&M, and I did find some great basic items there. I got a great pair of ankle length dress pants for $15 and a cropped sweater for $14.95. Also I love stopping over in the kids section and getting nice button up tops. I found a great blue button up in the boys section for only $19.95.

My next stop was Forever 21, where I got an amazing pair of high wasted leather pants! Ive been searching for leather shorts for ages and I'm so happy I found them for under 20 bucks there!

A new store I have also started shopping at is one called Anthropologie. Its a high priced store which offers very artistic and vintage looking clothing and home wear.  So far I have only bought 3 pieces from the sale section, which I do wear quite often. I bought this wonderful sheer printed top which is great for layering, this very interesting black Tshirt/ tank top in black, and this amazing lace top with a cotton overlay material. The colour is really gorgeous and the fabric feels extremely luxurious. These tops all ranged from 10 dollars to 40, with their original prices ranging from 68 to 100 dollars.

The last items I bought were accessories and makeup. From Shoppers Drugmart, I bought this gorgeous purple lipstick. Although it turned out a completely different colour then what I thought it would be, I still think i can wear it in the winter with certain outfits.

I also bought some new watches, since all of mine have come to a timely end..... Like that? timely..for watches...get it?! HA! But anyways, American Eagle was having a sale, and I got 2 watches for the price of one, 30 dollars to be exact. The first watch I picked was an everyday watch, black rubbery band with a black and gold face. The second was a dressier bigger watch in complete rose gold.

So that is it for now! Do check back soon because I will be doing a special Halloween makeup look! And if you wanna see anything in particular, do leave comments so I know what to show you guys! Have a good day!

Birthday Haul

Today's post is just a round about post of everything that's been going on since my birthday (as well as all my presents >.<). I didn't get anything on my previous birthday list post, but everything I did get was really thoughtful and I obviously loved. With the cash I got, I should be able to get myself something on that list soon!

The first thing I got for my birthday was from my mom :). She bought me this little silver, double heart necklace. I love how delicate the chain and pendent is, and I've never had anything so dainty before. It will go with a lot of more elegant and grown up styles.

My mom also took me out to H&M and Forever 21, shopping where I dug a little too deep into my birthday money, but ended up buying some really amazing pieces! (They will be in a separate post or haul video which I will upload to my blog and add more detail to styles and prices....still thinking about that idea = / )

My boyfriend got me a beautiful ice cream, strawberry shortcake cake, and a few new manga! <3He got me cirque du freak, a manga of one of his favourite book series growing up, and Claymore, one of my favourite animes, next to Sailor Moon of course!

From my friends, I received this really pretty skull and crystal bracelet, rose belly button ring (I'll probably wear it as an earring), and this little panda charm for my Pandora bracelet.

After my birthday, me and my boyfriend took a trip up to his cottage. it was so nice and relaxing, swimming and having no Internet... lol. We also took a boat ride around Georgian Bay, so I will finish off the rest of this post with pictures from my trip!

This seagull was flying beside my head half of the boat ride.

These are some of the pictures I took from the boat ride. :) It was so pretty!

Birthdays & Shopping & Riots Oh My!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

First of all I would like to say Happy Birthday to my brother <3 and also Happy Birthday to my Twin<3 I hope your night is filled with drunken fun memories!

So to celebrate these birthdays, and also just for fun, my family including my boyfriend, decided to have a shopping day in Toronto! Although I didn't get to go to my favourite stores, I did have an amazing shopping day!

I also got a little ninja turtle key cover as a mini present for my brother :)

I visited the Hot Topic in Eaton Center, and picked up a Sailor Moon shirt!! (BEST BUY EVER!) They had 4 different designs, but i went with a casual black and white baseball looking shirt with the full troop on the front! 32 Dollars well spent!

My inner child is screaming with delight

Next we travelled to H&M where I got 2 other things. I bought some tiny black shorts, that may be making a trip back to the store, and some amazing flatform/wedge shoes, which a great friend of mine also got!
They are so comfy and edgy looking! but i could always add a sweat little ankle bow for some girlish charm.

They are a little tight, but i may exchange for a size up for my gigantic lady feet to fit in! They also had some amazing flatforms in black and beige and some in the sneaker version. Needles to say I'm currently a flatform junky!
When we arrived home it was still early enough to party, as you know its St. patties day aka public intoxication day, so me and the boy travelled around to find some last minute parties to join. Low and behold, upon heading to our college, a huge riot of partiers VS police had happened and was still in full swing! It was like the best action movie ever! Flipped cars, fires, riot police, tear gas and drunkards yelling and whistling.
There wasn't much else to do then crack open a cold one and blast some tunes while sparks flew.
(If your in town, you can prolly catch the news about it, or deff youtube it)

All in all it was a great night, got some childhood, some fashion and some action, all in a days work :)

QUICK SURVAY!! Would you buy stuff if i had a Blog Sale??
