Efoxcity Necklace!

I've always loved getting thing in the mail ever since I was a little girl and me and my aunt would send each other letters. Now that I'm grown up, its still a thrill to open up the mailbox and see a new package with my name on it.

This week, I received a necklace from a site I recently mentioned in a previous post from Efoxcity.net. I have been wanting a necklace like this for quite some time, but couldn't find the right colour or the right price. On efoxcity they had 3 different colours to choose from and they were all 11 dollars.

I chose the gold necklace since I love that it gives off an effortlessly chic style and can add a little sophisticated edge to any outfit. I see myself wearing this with a white fitted blazer and some cute printed trouser pants and heels.

I could even flip it 360 and do an edgy outfit with a white printed top, goth lace maxi skirt and my spiked lita's, while still adding that bit of sophistication using the necklace.

The shipping for this item came relatively fast, about 2 weeks from china in the regular mail. It was packaged in a simple yellow envelope with bubble wrap on the inside, and folded inside in a little plastic bag.

I was happy that even though there was no additional protection during its journey that there was only a minor flaw with some of the links being a little bent. Nothing was broken and I could easily bend them back into place.

Talking to the people from the site was a very pleasant experience as well. They were polite and answered any questions I had as best they could and in a very timely manner. There were no issues with understanding each other, and I didn't get any bad vibes from them or this site at all.

Over all I would say my experience ordering and working with this site was one of the best I have encountered. With their polite staff, easy to shop website, and fast shipping, I had no worries about my item  and am very pleased with its appearance and style.

I definitely recommend trying out this site as they have an amazing range of stylish jewelry as well as clothing for meant and women. But don't take my word for it, try em out yourself!

What is your favourite item from their site?

Port Huron Collective Haul!

A few days ago, me and my family made a wonderful trip over the border to Port Huron, Michigan for some shopping. We usually go there every summer at least 3 times, and so far in the last 3 weeks, we've gone twice, and I've spent a pretty penny each time.

The one thing that got me super excited for going to our favourite shopping destination, Burchwood Mall, is that they have a Target! I love going there for all the cheaper prices and awesome food flavours we don't get in my part of Canada, aka Cherry Pepsi.<3 That, and also that they usually have a full stock of E.L.F cosmetics!! I will be doing another post with my entire elf haul over my last 2 trips, so stay tunes for that lengthy bit of info.

Todays post will consist of my fashion buys, which really isn't that much compared to how much makeup and back up makeup I bought. :) 1 top, 1 pair of shorts, which I have blogged about previously, some jewelry and 3 pairs of shoes to be exact.

The top I got is really nice for a really hot summer day. Its very light woven material with a really cool and colourful print across the front. It has a cow skull as well as a skull with a native headdress on it, and ties in the front. It actually goes really well with the purple dip dye shorts that I bought from Hot Topic that day. I got the top from a store called Pacific Sunwear (pacsun) for only 9.99USD, and the shorts were only 7.99USD on sale.

I also got a really pretty gold stretch, heart bracelet with intricate designing on it. I love the way it dresses up a casual outfit, and is more of a cuff style, but still has a feminine look to it. I also got a pair of gold skull earrings and a pair of 10 gauge tapers :). Yes, that is right, I am finally starting to stretch my ears!!

 So far, it hurts. T_T

I also got 2 necklaces from a store called Rue21. The first is a black bead and spike, wire collar style, which i have been looking for for ages!! I'm so glad I found this, and for only 8.99USD! The other necklace I bought is a really cool mixed metal arrow head necklace. It has silver and gold triangles chained together for a short and trendy looking necklace. I got the second for only 6.99USD.

Now for the shoes! I bought 3 during my trip, 2 from Kohl's, and one from Journeys.  The two from Kohl's were both on sale and were amazing prices so I definitely couldn't pass them up!

The first one I fell in love with were a cream and wood high wedge shoe. Originally it was 74.99, but I got it on sale for only 27.99USD. It has a Tstrap, and strappy beachy look, with a statement white column down the heel, which really caught my eye.

The next ones that I found were originally 59.99 and I bought them for an amazing 17.99USD! Again a wedge shoe, but a little lower then the first pair. They are also a strappy fabric shoe, that features a colourful ethnic print and a statement row of tiny pyramid studs down the center.

Both are super comfy and feel like I'm walking on a cloud! I really wish I could have found more awesome shoes for those prices, in my size >.>

The last shoe/item I bought was my strappy black sandals from Journeys. These were also on sale for 19.99, and I really only wanted them because they look almost identical to my previous favourite sandals which have ripped. The only difference is that my old ones have a tiny wedge heel on them, but other then that, they are virtually the same.

So there it is for now, that is my shopping haul for the past few trips. I will be posting my elf haul soon since I have everything I want from that company for now. :)

Outfit post / Sneak Peak

Another quick post tonight before I wither away to sleep land. I recently went to a comedy club over the weekend and enjoyed an evening filled with lots of laughs and drinks. I really didn't know what to wear since it was my first time going out to a comedy club, and I really didn't want to be over dressed or under dressed for the occasion.

I tried to play it safe with black leggings and a really nice, semi sheer collared top. It just HAD to start raining before I left, so I through on a denim jacket and combat boots to set off the cute collar with some edgy goodness. For a bit of colour, I added a really pretty amethyst crystal necklace I had bought earlier in the day, for only 5 bucks might I add! To tie the purple into the outfit, I did a purple smokey eye with a lively pink lip and a natural looking blush.

I feel like this outfit really went well with the light hearted mood of the comedy club but still looked cute and was very comfortable and chic. I definitely could have worn this look to work or on a date as well, since its so easy to put together and appropriate for almost all occasions.

...

Now something completely unrelated to the comedy night..but super exciting!! I came home to a new package today! Try to guess whats in it!

It came in a yellow envelope from Thailand  (hmm a lot like another package from a few weeks ago.)
& Everything was bubble rapped a few times...

Came with a case, and a little bag of bubble wrap

2 vials.........

Mermaids and Silver

Just a quick post for today. As usually, my computer is broken, so I am stuck begging for my brothers until I find money to fix / get a new laptop (yay -__-").

Anyways, todays post will be short and sweet, just an outfit i put together for work today. Although I'm only supposed to wear clothing from my work, I couldn't help mix it up a bit and wear a statement top from my work with a beautiful skirt that I bought for only 5 dollars!

The top is a sheer light teal and white blousy tank with a small breast pocket. Its really cute on its own or with skinny jeans, but I decided to change it up and put it with a black mermaid skirt. Yes I call it a mermaid skirt, don't ask me why, but I do! Its also been called a high-low skirt, mullet skirt ect.

I kept it simple with a long silver leaf necklace and some strappy black sandals.

That is all for tonight, but I will be back soon with a huge elf haul as well as a new circle lens review. Review will most likely be up tomorrow night ^^

To those who were lucky enough, I hope you had a great memorial long weekend, and to everyone else, I hope you had a good weekend and day at work!

Stay Tuned for my next post!!

New Jewels

It is finally time for my long awaited jewelry haul that eluded to like last month. I've been so lazy and sick on and off that I haven't had time to properly review / wear half the jewelry. Anyways, lets get started.

I bought most of these form a store called detox, Claire's and various other random places. I bought a little of all of the new jewelry trends for spring, Christian influences, vintage and nautical pieces, mainly in gold with intricate or colourful designs.

Ive always loved earrings, so i always go crazy and buy way too many, plus I have 5 ear holes to put them in so i guess its ok. The nautical ones came in a 3 pack, with really cute anchors, star fish and large rhinestones all on gold. I love these earrings since their not too small but don't cover my other ear holes either <3

Since my name starts with M, I couldn't resist these cute monogram earrings, again in gold and a really nice size. The cross earrings I fell in love with after watching one of my favourite British beauties,Vous sont Beau et Belle rave about her cute top shop cross earrings, so when I found these I was super excited! The are a medium/ large sized earring made of thick sturdy metal again in gold.

These last ones aren't really my style, but I thought they were too cute to pass up..and only a dollar. :) The cute rose stud surrounded by little rhinestones gives off a really cute and elegant vintage style, and adds a bit of girlish charm to a smart outfit.

Now onto bracelets and rings. This first bracelet would go along really well with the cross earrings, if I wanted to get down like that (which I deff wouldn't). Again thanks to that beautiful blogger, I fell in love with this cute stretchy stackable bracelet. Its scenes from the bible colourfully depicted onto brown wooden beads. Its really pretty and makes for a nice statement piece.

The next bracelet is one of my FAVOURITES! Its a harness style bracelet, with a chain leading from the ring to the bracelet. The main section of the bracelet has 2 song birds, with one on the ring, and a chain combining the 3. <3

Finally the ring. I actually got this for a Christmas present from my sister, but lost it until recently so I put it in with this haul lol. Its a super cute metal design bent to fit the finger. Its a great statement ring, and has a very vintage feel to it.

Last but not least my necklaces. I bought 3 new ones recently, but left one at my boyfriends house >.> but it will probably be in an OOTD thing eventually. My favourite for the 2 I have in my possession, is defiantly this elephant one. I love the colours and how it brightens up my outfits without being too extreme. Its a really good length too, plus elephants have been my favourite since Dumbo haha

The last one is this "twisted tusk" necklace. I love the black and white marbling, and the delicate design around the top with black and cream. This adds some edge to my outfit, and again sits at a really nice length.

And just a quick shot of my nails :)

That's it for tonight, but stay tuned for my long awaited circle lens reviews! I have Finally received my lenses from Solution-Lens.com and am way excited to try em out!

Good night you beautiful readers you!

QUICK SURVAY!! Would you buy stuff if i had a Blog Sale??
