BIG Changes!! & Haul / NOTW

Sooooo basically I cut all my hair off. I now have a short bob style which I actually love! I have always wanted long hair, but my hair has always had other ideas, so I gave up and chopped it off last night. I cant wait to experiment with new short hairstyles and see how this cute look will work with edgier fashion.

I never really liked short hair, or thought it would look good on me, but its really nice...we will see how long I love it for though. haha

Also, I have been doing a little bit of shopping recently...some at Anthropologie (mainly at Anthropologie, some at urban outfitters and little bits here and there).

From Anthropologie I bought a few really cute pieces from their new season and some from their sale items!

First off, this army jacket. Its seriously amazing! The front is a really nice, over sized army jacket with big pockets and a nice collar. The back is the surprise.

The back is a gorgeous knitted pattern with yellows, pinks, navys and really makes the jacket pop! It goes perfectly with any style, jeans, dress, skirts etc.

The next item I bought was this super cute printed, collard dress shirt. It has an adorable bicycle man print all over it, and has navy cuffs, collar and stripe coming up the middle. It is soft and really comfy to wear.

This is another really nice top I bought. The front and back are a sheer material, while the arms and neck are a comfy jersey type material. Its longer in the back and has a cute rolled up / button sleeve. Its really comfy to wear and really gives off an easy going professional look.

This last sweater I bought might be my favourite purchase so far. Its something I've never seen before, and soooo cute on! It has and irregular hemline along the bottom, and the back has a lace piece inside, that just peaks out along the bottom. I bought it in a medium so that it was longer  and so that the arms were a bit looser. I LOVE THIS SWEATER! It looks amazing with leather pants or with tights as well.

This is the last item I bought from Anthropologie. These shorts are actually really really cute! They have a scalloped bottom and a really nice jacquard print with a shiny fabric. They are high waisted and look really good with opaque black tights. I cant wait to wear these with a really cute blazer and nice collard shirt!

At Urban Outfitters, I bought some amazing pieces. This cute grungy sweater with with denim vest, and Love Tarot card tank were 2 great finds in their sale section. They really look so good and the sweater is really warm

The spiked headband was from Garage, which is super crazy, since I didn't think they would have anything like that. The ox blood pants were from Urban Planet, and only cost me 20 bucks!

I also bought these black leather pants from H&M. They are really really stretch and super comfortable to wear. I'm afraid of wearing these in the summer though..we all know what its like to stack to leather seats...imagine leather pants!

Last but not least I also bought this gorgeous long skirt from Costa Blanca for 10 bucks! This is a picture of the back  since the front is just a regular skirt, but the back is rouged  and it has a slit up the side of the leg to just under the knee. Its so nice and comfy and has an effortless sexy chicness to it.

I also picked up some accessories from Anthropologie and Costa Blanca. The two belts were from Anthro, and are so cute! The silver one has a snake head and tail, so it looks like its wrapping around your waist, and the gold one as a really cute jewelled front.

The gold chain necklace I bought from Costa Blanca, and it is so nice. Its the perfect accessory to throw on with literally anything, even a bummy sweater!

I'm happy with everything I got and I didn't break the bank getting em! I wonder how they will all go with my new hair... :D

My next post will probably be a review..I just don't know on what yet. haha MYSTERY REVIEW!
I will leave you with my new nails for this week! Ciao!

Outfit post / Sneak Peak

Another quick post tonight before I wither away to sleep land. I recently went to a comedy club over the weekend and enjoyed an evening filled with lots of laughs and drinks. I really didn't know what to wear since it was my first time going out to a comedy club, and I really didn't want to be over dressed or under dressed for the occasion.

I tried to play it safe with black leggings and a really nice, semi sheer collared top. It just HAD to start raining before I left, so I through on a denim jacket and combat boots to set off the cute collar with some edgy goodness. For a bit of colour, I added a really pretty amethyst crystal necklace I had bought earlier in the day, for only 5 bucks might I add! To tie the purple into the outfit, I did a purple smokey eye with a lively pink lip and a natural looking blush.

I feel like this outfit really went well with the light hearted mood of the comedy club but still looked cute and was very comfortable and chic. I definitely could have worn this look to work or on a date as well, since its so easy to put together and appropriate for almost all occasions.

...

Now something completely unrelated to the comedy night..but super exciting!! I came home to a new package today! Try to guess whats in it!

It came in a yellow envelope from Thailand  (hmm a lot like another package from a few weeks ago.)
& Everything was bubble rapped a few times...

Came with a case, and a little bag of bubble wrap

2 vials.........

Mermaids and Silver

Just a quick post for today. As usually, my computer is broken, so I am stuck begging for my brothers until I find money to fix / get a new laptop (yay -__-").

Anyways, todays post will be short and sweet, just an outfit i put together for work today. Although I'm only supposed to wear clothing from my work, I couldn't help mix it up a bit and wear a statement top from my work with a beautiful skirt that I bought for only 5 dollars!

The top is a sheer light teal and white blousy tank with a small breast pocket. Its really cute on its own or with skinny jeans, but I decided to change it up and put it with a black mermaid skirt. Yes I call it a mermaid skirt, don't ask me why, but I do! Its also been called a high-low skirt, mullet skirt ect.

I kept it simple with a long silver leaf necklace and some strappy black sandals.

That is all for tonight, but I will be back soon with a huge elf haul as well as a new circle lens review. Review will most likely be up tomorrow night ^^

To those who were lucky enough, I hope you had a great memorial long weekend, and to everyone else, I hope you had a good weekend and day at work!

Stay Tuned for my next post!!

mini haul

Yesterday we got in some new great tops at work, and obviously being the shopaholic I am, I could hardly resist not spending some of my freshly deposited paycheck. I limited my self to only 4 things (and one was buy one get one free) so it was rather a good buy and didn't leave too much of a dent in my wallet.

The first thing I picked up was a really pretty short sleeved lace top. It has grey jersey trimming along the neck, arm and bottom hem of the top. Its a really easy to wear top with a comfortable loose fit and looks cute with just blue jeans, or dressed up with a blazer. I really like it and thought it would be a good choice for whatever Easter festivities I have to participate in this weekend.

The next thing I picked up was a long loose casual top. It is burgundy and grey with buttons going all the way down the back. I actually got this in a size large because that was all that was left, but it looks really good tucked into a pair of jeans or belted and worn as a dress. I just love that its a really light long sleeve which will be good for the weather were having right now. (I think the weather is on crack right now..hot then snowing then hot? MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!)

The last item that I got was a really nice casual sweater. Its a very vibrant blue, 3/4 length sleeve pullover with a wider neck. Its made with really soft warm material and again is perfect for this random weather going on.

The last item I got, I cant show because its a bday present for my sister :3 so instead I'll show my new heels I bought. These were only 30 dollars, and are my new favourite glam shoes. They are quite high but the most comfortable shoes I think Iv ever had on my feet. They have a medium sized heel, and the front platform is curved so its easy to walk in. They are a matte black colour and are just super simple and amazing! I'm planning on wearing them next weekend so new photos of them in action will be up soon!

I also just purchased some fun things from a site called Bornprettystore.com, so those items should be coming to me in a few weeks, which I will review. As well, my lenses are slowly making their way to Canada so stay tuned for those reviews too.
 :)

Thanks for reading! Have a happy Easter Holiday :)

QUICK SURVAY!! Would you buy stuff if i had a Blog Sale??
